Terms and Conditions:
Powder & Blush aims to deliver a value for money service with excellence in customer care. In exchange for this we ask that you observe the following:
1. All services are provided by independent contractors of Powder & Blush. The agreement is held between you the customer and the individual consultant (Nail Technician/ Make up Artist) performing the service. This agreement becomes binding when you sign the consent form agreeing to the service to be carried out. Powder & blush acts as the agency promoting the service and as such any liable claims would need to be made against the individual concerned, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions set out within their insurance contracts.
2. All consultants (Make Up Artists/ Nail Technicians) are independent contractors of Powder & Blush, therefore we can not be held responsible or liable for the conduct of contractors. All consultants have signed up to a agreed code of conduct if in the event that a consultant fails to meet the high standards set, they will be removed from the register and where possible Powder & Blush will seek to reimburse the client for any inconveniences caused, if deemed appropriate following an investigation by Powder & Blush. Investigations will only take place following receipt of a full written complaint and will take place within 4 weeks following receipt of the complaint.
3. In the case of Nail Technology services if you are not happy with your service or experience a adverse reaction to products you are asked to notify us at the earliest convenience and request that this is carried out witin a seven day timescale. Complaints arising within this time will be addressed and recified at the earliest convenience and where deemed appropriate no charge levied. Regrettably we are unable to accept liability for disassitsfaction arising following a service that has expired past 7 days where notification has not been recieved, in this instance we will endeavour to address the concern, however a charge may be levied. In the case of bridal and other make up services we ask that you feed back your comments as soon as possible and acknowledge there may be a time delay following holiday commitments etc. Therefore we extend this up to a month following the event.
4. The service is offered on a mobile basis and is subject to available appointments and availability of consultants (Nail Technicians /Make Artists). If in the event we are unable to provide a service by the named consultant due to sickness or unexpected emergencies wherever possible an alternative consultant will be allocated. In these instances you will always be give the option to cancel, and no charge levied. In the case of Bridal bookings, in the unlikely event a cancellation occurs and we are unable to substitute we will pay you a full refund plus 50% of the total amount. This is not applicable to trial makeovers or other appointments and is only applicable to the actual wedding day.
5. In cases where parking restrictions are enforced, the client where possible is required to provide a vistors permit, to cover the duration of the appointment. In the abcence of this a standard £5.00 charge will be levied and added to the total cost of services. This fee will not be applicable in the case of bridal services, with the exception of the trial makeover parking costs will be incurred by Powder & Blush.
6. All appointments should be kept unless prior arrangement has been made to rearrange. In these instances no charge will be levied, in all other cases cancellation of appointments with less than 24hrs notice will incur a £5 cancellation fee.
7. In the case of Bridal bookings cancellations with less than two months notice will incur a 25% charge. For cancellations received within 2 weeks of the wedding date 100% monies will be payable. This includes sickness and late wedding cancellations. Please see specific Terms and Conditions for Bridal services.
8. Any special offers provided by Powder & Blush are subjected to the usual Terms & Conditions and may have additional conditions applied. We reserve the right to cancel any promotion with out advance notice at any time.
9.Powder & Blush has the right to refuse service to any individual without explanation, although wherever possible an explanation will be given. If a booking has not been confirmed by a Powder & Blush representative no monies will be owed.
